Voter Registration Resources for 2024
July 16, 2024
Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2024 is Election Day. Goodwill-Easter Seals Minnesota (GESMN) provides nonpartisan voter resources to make voting more accessible to all eligible voters in Minnesota. Registering to vote and participating in the democratic process is an important part of civic engagement.
“Minnesota’s election laws changed in the last year, making non-partisan voter education more critical,” said Michael Wirth-Davis, President and CEO of GESMN, which joined five other Minnesota nonprofits recently, to provide non-partisan voter registration information. “As trusted nonprofit service providers, we’re working together to increase knowledge and access so the voices of people we serve are heard this election year.”
While Minnesota allows same-day registration on Election Day, it is helpful to make sure in advance that you are #VoteReady by checking on your voter registration status, knowing your voting rights, being aware of deadlines for early voting, researching candidates, and locating your polling place.
There were also several changes to election laws in Minnesota last year that increase access and flexibility in voting.
